The 2007 Midwest Felting Symposium

Suzanne Higgs
Plainwell, Michigan

Suzanne is the originator of the needle felting over foam forms. She has designed hat and brim forms, boot, mitten and purse forms, as well as a needle felting sock darning bulb. She shares her joy of felt making by teaches extensively throughout Michigan and in her studio, Fascinations Fiber Gallery and Studio in Plainwell, Michigan. Her felt making encompasses art felts, hats, bags, scarves, faces, boots, rugs and felted flowers. Suzanne makes art felts that are in private and public collects, while her hats, bags, scarves and felt flowers are currently for sale in art galleries in southwest Michigan
