<description>Beautiful soft lace hand dyed yarn.
Ideal for knitting diverse kinds of garments: shawls, light autumn/spring garments, socks, etc.
100% Pure Wool. Yardage: 950 yards per skein.

I would not think that more than one shein would be needed 950 yards in plenty of wool :) Jussi, is this correct?

Regrads,

<description>I found these comments and question on Jussi&#039;s blog: ohhhoo!!! I found your blog via Craftgossip

I saw some gorgeous scarves like this at a museum store, but $300 was WAY out of my price range. I don&#039;t knit well, but was studying them to see how it was done. I am so happy to see my &#039;guess&#039; was right! I am gonna spin some silk/merino fine yarn, then try to do a simple knit and try it for myself!

thank you!!!!

I was wondering how many skeins of the Handpainted lace weight yarn you used to make this scarf, or, in general, how many yards it takes.

Thanks for this tutorial. I can&#039;t wait to try it!

I will try to find out how many skeins of yarn was needed to make this scarf.
