A new book, not available to the public was send to me by Mellissa Possick from The Taunton Press so I could review it. When I received the book the first thing that captivated me is the cover because it looked like a lovely felted piece of art. Another surprise for me is that the books look familiar and as I looked back through my columns I see that I did an article about this author on January 8, 2008, so click here to read about Kathleen Taylor and all the books she has written.On with this book review “I (Heart) Felt” by: Kathleen Taylor. This book is a must have for all of you that felt your wool knits. Kathleen has come up with some fast fun knits for us to try. There are several new techniques that were of interest to me and I am sure you will enjoy also. This book is filled with great pictures of appealing projects and clear instruction. I hope I don’t’ get into hot water showing one of her designs, but what the heck, you will see it when you get this book, so please don’t tell. How perfect is this sweet hat and purse for a girl so near Valentine’s Day and following is the pattern for one of the hearts which you make two of for the Appliqué but I am going to make one just to try [...] [...] This is a first for me!
