This is a two part posting. First, Linda Permann, contributor for Craft Style show us how to Create Textured Textiles with Felting and then how to create this adorable Bobbled Scarflet. I plan on making this and I am sure you will too. I love the way Linda added the designer buttons that make this Scarflet really pop! This is such a eco-friendly and inexpensive project that you can make very chic or sporty, according to the sweaters you have on hand. Did a nasty Moth ruin your Cashmere, well this would be a treasure to make with Cashmere. Gather together those old wool sweaters and give this a try!

What a brilliant idea! I have several moth-eaten cashmere jumpers which I don’t want to throw away. I did think about getting them repaired but the holes are quite big so my old sweaters will now get a new lease of life.
I am so pleased that you found this posting useful. Awhile back I repaired a Cashmere sweater with roving if you would like to see that post go here: http://felting.craftgossip.com/2007/12/01/repairing-a-cashmere-sweater-using-roving/
