I am planning a big party for my daughter who will be turning 13. Everyday she reminds me of that. I always said when she is 13 we will have a big party. She can not wait.

My life is a myriad of planning – maybe nothing special to the outsider, but in our lives all the little things matter. This book seems it would be so inspiring for even the everyday events – which is EXACTLY what I am looking for. Thanks for this opportunity!

I am just starting working on a World Wide Spin in Public Day at a small local museum where I am a docent. I have been given the freedom to do what I want with the event and am making it into a celebration of the needle arts/domestic arts from Colonial times to the present.

I would use the projects in this book to help me with sending out personalized invitations to needle artists plus thank you cards to everyone who participates. Hand written invitations and thank yous have fallen out of vogue but given the theme of from Colonial times to the present, it would be nice to remind everyone of how we used to do things.

I am not planning any parties at the moment. But, I do LOVE crafting and recycling.

I have two aunts in their 80′s who do not have computers, so I send them snail mail all the time. It would be wonderful to send them things I’ve created too! :)

Now that our little ones are getting bigger, we are anxious to get back to having parties more often and often for no reason other than just to get together. It’s going to be fun!

There is always something going on around here, with three kids they are often off to a party or asking to have one here. From Birthdays to casual movie nights. I love to help them do the planning and it is great to get them involved in the making of invitations and goodie bags.

I love being a Grandma and planning lots of little family events. With another grandchild on the way, I am planning a shower and more special events. I would love to display my unique “craftiness” rather than just purchasing the same ready made paper products as everyone else. The book seems like it is designed for a paper crafter like me.

  26. Charlene Ploetz on July 4, 2009 11:42 am

This would be a money saver because I wouldn’t have to buy these paper goods and instead I could have a blast making them! I love having parties for no reason and I think this could spur some cool party invite ideas.

    Thanks for the contest!

I am craft instructor for the Mandarin Garden Club Thursday Crafty Ladies group. We meet every Thursday and we are always looking for new ideas. Our garden club (200 plus members) will be celebrating it’s 65th anniversary in November 2010. Thursday Crafty Ladies will be making the invitations, envelopes, favors and decorations for this event and I sure could utilize the ideas in this book to make it a spectacular event!

It’s genuinely very difficult in this active life to listen news on TV, thus I simply use the web for that reason, and get the latest news.
