What other animal except the Bunny can best represent spring and Easter than these darling Lamb pillows. Every child, girl or boy would love to lay the heads down on these Lamb pillows. Molly of Purl Bee used the soft, lofty (and organic!) O-Wool Melton Wool for the body of these pillows because it feels like how she imagine real lambs must feel. Wool Melton feels like something in-between fleece and felt which is perfect for this project since it means it doesn’t fray so you don’t have to hem the scalloped edges. For the face, legs, and ears she used the rich Chocolate color of Purl Bee’s 100% Wool Felt. If you wanted more color options you could also make the body out of the 100% wool felt. Either way, she loves the idea that these little lambs are entirely made out of Wool! Find the tutorial and the templates at Molly’s Sketchbook: Little Lamb Pillows.
