When my daughter was about five years old and we were up in Maine and I found a pattern for a large doll with movable arm’s and every strand of hair was put in by hand. I ended up making her a second doll because she was always with her doll sick or well and I felt it was filled with germs. The doll I made was probably; I would guess four times larger than the doll I am showing you today. Ashley of Make it and Love it has the most adorable girl and boy fabric dolls with pattern pieces for us to make. These are dolls that you can make extra clothing for and the kids can carry them around by their arms or hair as you will see in the pictures she has on her blog.
