Laura and Katie are sisters and host “Duo Fiberworks” they live on small rural Kentucky farms and they love their progressive community. One of their expectations was to write a book on all types of crafting and they did. They wrote this amazing eBook “Handwork for the Holidays” and I am thrilled to be hosting their giveaway and one of you will win a copy. I just realized that we are almost half way through the year and what better time to start on holiday crafts than during a long hot summer evenings. Laura and Katie also make things to sell, and “Duo Fiberworks” grew out of their desire to offer carefully designed knitting and sewing patterns as well as appealing natural crafting materials and kits. Their blog is filled with wonderful free tutorials of remarkable crafts you can make. The book contains 40 pages of patterns and detailed directions for making 14 projects:
• Eight knitting patterns,
• Three sewing patterns, and
• Three paper craft projects to print cut out and assemble.
Follow the clear directions and use basic handwork skills in a creative way to craft gifts and decorations that are original and charming. You can follow them on Facebook and keep up with their projects; if you have a Facebook account. The winner will have this book emailed to them.
