Martha Stewart’s felt Christmas stockings

December 3, 2008 by Linda Lanese

If you are ever looking for a good idea or something new in crafting go you Martha Stewart’s site and just type in what you are looking for and I guarantee that you will find something that interests you.   I found these adorable Christmas stockings that include the direction and the template.  I think they are sweet and hope these inspire you.

The Holly Christmas Stocking!

Brimming with gifts on Christmas morning, beautifully decorated handmade stockings are a delight to wake up to. But they can do much more than hold gifts: Miniature boot-shaped stockings can be used as ornaments for the tree or to decorate a package — they can even be turned into Advent calendars. Choose the pattern for your stocking from among our templates, or create your own.

Bird Christmas Stocking!

Cheerful wool-felt birds and luxurious mohair and cashmere fabrics make these stockings as special as the gifts inside them.

Tools and Materials
Bird Stockings templates
Mohair and cashmere fabrics
Pins
Wool felt
White craft glue
Feathers
Sequins or beads

First off I would like to say great blog!
I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you don’t mind.
I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts prior
to writing. I have had a hard time clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out.
I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin.
    Any suggestions or tips? Cheers!
