I actually found Lauren on twitter under “mosshill” and followed the links to her Flickr. Lauren lives in Florida and loves to Needle felt and sew.  Lauren has been able to create the most adorable feathered friends that everyone would want to own.  She has birdies for every season and she covers many events. She has got the most adorable wedding cake toppers that would really make a hit at anyone’s wedding.  I can picture one of these sweet little birds on a child’s birthday cake or for Mother’s Day. Unfortunately, Lauren has a hard time keeping her birds in stock. Each little bird is needle felted by Lauren and the birds vary in size but most are around 2 to 4 inches tall and are made of wool. I’m sure you can special order a feathered friend to suit your needs. Do visit Lauren’s Flickr account and go through all her precious pictures of her needle felted feathered friends.

Lauren’s husband is a photographer who takes many pictures of the birds. He has taught Lauren a thing or two; she branched out into taking a few photos herself.
