Another fabulous giveaway! Josh, of eknittingneedles.com is offering a complete set of knitting needles or crochet hooks, “you pick and choose” and one skein of any color of the new yarn they are now carrying. I bought a few sets and I am so impressed with these needles and hooks and the great pricing and quality. I have been using their needles for over a month now and my experience with these needles is A++++! This is a chance of a lifetime to have every size needle or crochet hooks you need at your fingertips.
eknittingneedles.com not only sells knitting needles but also beautiful bamboo crochet hooks in a large variety of sizes. Bamboo is my needle of choice, because the yarns do not slip and they become better and better with age when it builds up that wonderful patina that comes from use. Handling something as natural as bamboo just feels good in your fingers. Just think of all the gorgeous knitted felts you can make with these wonderful knitting needles.
They are now carrying yarns and the winner will be getting a skein to try. I thank Josh of eknittingneedles.com for his amazing generosity. An added bonus is that you get free shipping on orders over $15 and what could be better than this! They also accept PayPal and credit cards and they also take checks and money orders.
For this giveaway, go over to eknittingneedles.com and check out the needles, crochet hooks and their new yarn, the folks at eknittingneedles.com are very interested in what types of yarns you would like to see them carry, so here is your chance to get in on the ground floor and have a shop that carries the type of yarns you love at great prices. Then come back here and in the comment area type what type of yarns you would like to see them carry, not brands, but types. YOU must enter here not at eknittingneedles.com! This giveaway will run from June 23, 2009 through July 7th 2009. Good luck to everyone!

Sock yarns! Merino and merino blends, please. Bonus points for organic and Fair Trade 🙂
Emily says
Wow, what lovely products! I would love to see finer-gauge yarn, especially sock yarn and lace weight.
TJ says
I love hand painted fingering weight yarn. I have mostly wool, but I’d love to try silk or alpaca or a blend.
Jessica says
All kinds!! A good variety is what I like…and I LOVE alpaca.
ALLY M123 says
Would love.love.love to see 100% cotton yarn! I love organic cotton yarn the best as it makes great sweaters and hand crafted wash cloths.
Angela says
You absolutely CANNOT go wrong with a merino/silk blend, in any weight.
sarah says
how about sock weight yarns without wool (some people have allergies) – I’m thinking cotton or bamboo or? with self striping colorways. I prefer crochet hooks of all sizes and the Tierra color of the Alpaca yarn. I wish eknittingneedles.com every success! I already have some bamboo hooks from them that are very smooth.
Cath says
I love to work with bamboo (it’s so soft) so I’d suggest bamboo =D Wool would be great too.
Elaine says
I love bamboo, bamboo blends, silk, silk blends, alpaca. To me these are all the height of luxury. I’d also love to win a set of the needles.
Linda says
How about some gorgeous baby llama to go with the baby alpaca. Also, some cotton rich sock yarn for summer.
Gloria says
I’d love to win…love the new site. Craft gossip is getting hip!!!
Kat says
I second the calls for bamboo yarn, especially in sock weights and beautiful colours. I’ve never seen such a great selection of bamboo needles, especially dpns; they would be amazing for socks!
Jessica Jones says
I love fingering and laceweight yarns, and merino/silk or alpaca or bamboo blends are all great with me.
Carla says
The bamboo needle sets look wonderful and seem like a fantastic bargain. The alpaca looks great too. I’d love to see bamboo yarn added and also nice soft cotton yarns. Perhaps Josh might want to keep some yarns stocked all year and others be more seasonal. I love knitting with cotton, bamboo during warm weather and wools, alpaca during cooler weather.
Baba says
I love the baby alpaca yarn but would love to see some cotton and a few more colors.
Sally says
The needles look really great. The prices seem to be very reasonable. I’ve never tried bamboo before. My favorite yarn to work with is hand dyed wool. That would be my choice.
Shay Williams says
I have to put my name in the hat for this drawing. I used to love to crochet but have pretty much given it up as my hands get tired so quickly. But maybe with the bamboo, I could get back to a hobby I used to love.
Oh and yarn.. I have heard nothing but good things about bamboo. I just can’t find it (and I have looked so I could feel it up) locally.
Jenna says
I would love to see yarn in bamboo, nice cotton, silk or blends with those in them in sock or sport weight. I would also love to see the tiny steel crochet hooks that have bamboo handles.
FalconDance says
Perhaps a few hooks that are more user friendly to those of us who have arthritis. Fatter grips, for example.
I’d love to see you carry sports weight (or so) non-wool or -acrylic yarns. Every one seems to have wool (which I love, since I also spin) but few seem to also have a high quality, affordable tencel blend, silk, bamboo, etc.
Pat Ewick says
Bamboo or wool silk. Something very soft, but in vibrant colors.
Sylvia says
The needles look wonderful and so reasonable. I have never used bamboo needles and would love to try them out.
For yarn, my favorites vary with the season – cottons for summer, alpaca, merino, for the winter, bamboo for any season.
vanessa says
I would also like to see some bamboo. Love the needles!
Rena Jones says
I too would love bamboo, bamboo-silk, alpaca, and/or cashmere. However, I would especially love to have the new Milk fiber yarn – particularly in DK weight.
ravenm says
I’d like to see them carry alpaca and wool, of course, but I’d *really* love to see them carry fibers that fewer places carry: milk, corn, bamboo, hemp, buffalo, tencel, soy, yak, qiviut, and so forth.
Heather says
I would like to see a silk blend with alpaca and wool probably light worsted for mittens. I can’t seem to find any at a reasonable price.
Knitbee says
I love a good worsted weight. I work almost completely in natural fibers, I would like to see a cotton and bamboo blend that does not hang funny after it is knitted. That would be a great summer blend.
LisaD says
I would love some soft but twisted(not so loose as hobby lobby I love that cotton) especially in a DK wt that seems hard to find
Karen B. says
I would love to see organic cotton in natural colours supplied by nature. Sport weight and Chunky! Love the Bamboo Needles!
bFlat says
I would love to see some bamboo yarn since it is so silky!
aimerrell says
I think I agree a soft bamboo yarn in bold colors would be a great idea
Kitten With A Whiplash says
I’d like some worsted/aran weight choices, I ususally work in those weights.
One Sheep says
I’d like to see some indie dyers represented. While it’s nice that so many have shope on Etsy and similar places, you still have to find and visit each shop one at a time. Perhaps there are several folks local to your location that you could work with, maybe some that don’t have any internet presence yet.
