I am just starting working on a World Wide Spin in Public Day at a small local museum where I am a docent. I have been given the freedom to do what I want with the event and am making it into a celebration of the needle arts/domestic arts from Colonial times to the present.
I would use the projects in this book to help me with sending out personalized invitations to needle artists plus thank you cards to everyone who participates. Hand written invitations and thank yous have fallen out of vogue but given the theme of from Colonial times to the present, it would be nice to remind everyone of how we used to do things.

There is always something going on around here, with three kids they are often off to a party or asking to have one here. From Birthdays to casual movie nights. I love to help them do the planning and it is great to get them involved in the making of invitations and goodie bags.

I love being a Grandma and planning lots of little family events. With another grandchild on the way, I am planning a shower and more special events. I would love to display my unique “craftiness” rather than just purchasing the same ready made paper products as everyone else. The book seems like it is designed for a paper crafter like me.
