Another fabulous giveaway! Josh, of eknittingneedles.com is offering a complete set of bamboo knitting needles or crochet hooks, “you pick and choose”! I now own several sets and I am so impressed with these needles and hooks and the great pricing and quality. I have been using their needles for months now and my experience with these needles is A++++! This is a chance of a lifetime to have every size needle or crochet hooks you need at your fingertips.

eKnittingNeedles.com not only sells knitting needles but also beautiful bamboo crochet hooks in a large variety of sizes.  Bamboo is my needle of choice, because the yarns do not slip and they become better and better with age when it builds up that wonderful patina that comes from use. Handling something as natural as bamboo just feels good in your fingers. Just think of all the gorgeous knitted or crocheted felts you can make with these wonderful knitting needles.

I thank Josh of eknittingneedles.com for his amazing generosity.  An added bonus is that you get free shipping on orders over $15 plus my readers get 10% off any purchase using the following code “FELTING854” now what could be better than this offer!  They also accept PayPal and credit cards and they also take checks and money orders.   For this giveaway, go over to eknittingneedles.com and check out the needles, crochet hooks, Dangle Crochet Hook Collection (12pc Set) and their other amazing products. eKnittingNeedles.com are very interested in just what products you would like them to carry. Then come back here and in the comment area type what your ideas are for them.  YOU must enter here not at eKnittingNeedles.com!  This giveaway will run from August 17th 2009 through August 29th 2009.   Good luck to everyone!

I loved this shop, and the free shipping, so much I had to buy a few dpns & yarn!!. I really wanted the two colors that weren’t available so I’ll have to return to see if they’re back soon. Aside from winning these great needles,I would like to see them carry shorter dpns for socks & baby sweater sleeves, longer cords on the circulars for things like shawls & lace work, interchangeable circulars would be nice as would needle cases, knitting notions, and more yarn-especially if it’s alpaca or other yummy yarns. Solid colors in the yarn would be nice too. Thanks for introducing me to a new shop & thanks to both of you for the great giveaway!

I’d *love* to see the Afghan Crochet Hooks in larger sizes (esp. 17 and 19). There are designers out there (like Stitch Diva) that are designing for these oversize hooks, but the only ones available are in non-sustainable hard woods (and are super expensive). I’d love to have a bamboo alternative, which would be sustainable and slightly less expensive — double bonus!!!

Another suggestion would be to make super-pointy knitting needles! I love working with bamboo, but the tips are often not pointy enough, and consequently they slow my work down…. 🙁 Again, fast needles from a sustainable source would be great!

I’d also second the suggestion made above that the regular crochet hooks be made with some sort of ergonomic “pad” on them to make them easier to work with. Currently, there are no ergo wood crochet hooks on the market!

Wow, that’s amazing! I never tried bamboo, most of my knitting needles are metal, because they tend to be cheaper to buy…but yea more slippery….I would love to try bamboo!

I forgot to mention what I will use the needles for!! It would be nice to try the 40 inches circular needles. I love to knit sweater in round, but I only have 24″ circular needles, so when I want to try the sweater on while knitting, I always have to move half of the stitches to another set of needles before I can continue. That’s tedious! 40″ will solve the problem 😀

I would like interchangeable circlar needles that you could just change the lenght of.

I think a nice bamboo box that could hold the set of needles is a great idea.

They have such beautiful hooks and needles! I am a novice knitter, so I really don’t have any suggestions for them, but I would love to try their products!

Seconding the ideas of some pp’s, I’d like to see a nice carrying case (bamboo, other wood, or cloth) for the needles – I’m still in search of the perfect one. Also, more info (patterns, instructions, etc.) on the tunisian crochet would be interesting – and a sample pic of what it looks like on the website – I’ve never seen it. Finally, with the tunisian crochet hooks, can that be combined with some of the interchangeable concept…i.e. a dangling cord that is a fixed length, but where you could remove the stopper at the end and add additional lengths of cord before re-affixing the stopper so that your cord could be as long as necessary? Not being familiar with tunisian crochet, I’m not certain that would be useful for the style, but I would love that flexibility with my knitting needles! Or maybe just a way to switch out between DPN and straight needles (something probably exists, but I’m still stuck using rubber bands on the ends!).

Finally, the yarn is beautiful, but would be great if there was a larger supply (of colors & varieties…like bamboo yarns).

I would love to see notions like clover type cutters, yarn needles -bamboo ones would be awesome!, tape measures.

I would love to win this set of bamboo needles! eKnittingNeedles has great products at affordable prices :). It would be nice if interchangeable circular needles and knitting needle case could be available on this site.

While I’m very glad they are offering alpaca yarn, it would be nice to have some bamboo yarn as well. The needle sets look great!

How beautiful! I’d like to see some hard cases for the DPNS (or soft ones) that maybe had a soft felt liner so they wouldn’t get dulled at the tips and bang around inside the case.
    Very pretty stuff!
    Thanks!

The dangle hooks are really cool! I’d love to see more yarn on the site, and smaller sizes of crochet hooks (bamboo with metal hook?)

I agree with the folks who want more yarn. I buy yarn more foten than needles, so I’d be back more often if there wer more yarn.

The bamboo crochet hooks look great! I am just starting to get really into crochet and these hooks look to be a good size and price. I second the idea of a carrying case. I have bought at least 5 crochet hooks only to loose them in between projects.

I would love to see shorter double ended needles they are so hard to find

I just ordered a set of bamboo crochet hooks off his site. I was so sad to see that there were no cases to hold them. I will either need to order one from somewhere else or make one myself.

I can’t wait for the hooks to arrive!
