Robin Andreae Wildlife Felting Artist

November 23, 2009 by Linda Lanese

HPIM9413  HPIM9254

Robin lives in California and is an amazing wildlife artist using needle felting as her textile.  Her animals are so realistic and so anatomically correct that it is difficult to believe they are not existent.  She is a devoted wildlife advocate and communicates her concern through her art.  Robin sells her fealties on EBay and donates 20 % of the proceeds from this sale will benefit Old Dog Haven, a senior doggie rescue and hospice.  Her Artist Needle Felted Large Siamese Java Cat (pictured) Kitten Mouse NR is up for auction now in her EBay shop.  Her blog is Robin Joy Andreae where you can see all her wonderful creations.

Artist Statement: As a self taught wildlife and animal artist, I believe we all can make a difference! Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has-Margaret Mead.
