I never realized that making a Stetson Hat was so complicated and now I know why they are so expensive. Although the fibers used in making the hats differ from wool felt the procedure is somewhat similar. The fiber goes through complex an action which ultimately leads to a high-end fabric that is then made into a hat. I was shocked as to how many hours and steps it talk to create a hat. So the next time I am nearer to haberdashery, which I’m sure will not be soon, I have a newfound respect for the art of hat making.
