Jenne Giles’s new book “Felt Fashion”

July 29, 2010 by Linda Lanese

Jenne Giles is the author of Felt Fashion: Couture Projects from Garments to Accessories due for release Oct. 1 2010 and she is trying to get a couple of copies to me for a review and giveaway and I am looking forward to seeing all the lovely projects in this stunning book. If you want to preorder it you can preorder this book on Amazon. In the mean time check out Jenne’s site Harlequin Feltworks and look at all her spectacular designs.

Jenne Giles is a San Francisco-based artist whose work ranges from traditional fine arts and crafts to innovative performance and installation art. She received her B.A. Degree in Art and Art History from Rice University in 1997. After working professionally in the arts and trades she began her own business, Harlequin Feltworks, in 2007.

Harlequin Feltworks is dedicated to creating unique pieces of wearable art combining painterly color, sculptural form, folk art and costume. Jenne’s innovative work pushes felt to the cutting edge of fashion and design and is truly wearable art.
