Needle Felted Nativity Scene Anna Branford

November 29, 2010 by Linda Lanese

What can I say about Anna’s little nativity scene that she needle felted last night accept brilliant and I would love the set. If the truth be known I tried the babe last evening myself, but no luck, so I am very jealous. Yesterday Anna collected some beautiful seedpods. First she thought was that she might try turning them into mangers for felted holy children and then one thing led to another and before she knew it she was holding the holy family in her hands. She is always looking out for crafty projects that use all natural materials, so she has done her best to create a Christmas post along those lines.  Also see Anna’s mother dolls carrying sleeping babies, it is adorable!  Anna lives in Melbourne near a river and she has an enormous black cat called Florence. As well as writing books for children she teaches sociology at a university, make dolls, nests and the occasional skirt and have cups of tea with friends in her garden. She likes travelling and she still tries to do as much daydreaming as possible on planes, trains and boats.  Please check out Anna Branford’s site and meet this amazing young lady.
