Ashley lives in Northern California with her wonderful husband. In her short time of being married she has been learning the ways of being a wife, taking care of their home, and balancing all the other little details of life. She started this blog in 2008, fresh out of college, dating her sweetheart, and crafting away. While her peers were looking for full time careers and getting their master’s degree, she was lurking around blogs about being at home and taking care of your husband. She decided to join the blog world, while still dating her husband, when he bought his first home. He told her she could pick out some curtains and little did he realize she would soon be taking over the whole house with her paint and side of the road furniture. They furnished his entire home with repainted second hand items and have not bought one single new piece of furniture (and that is why they still sleep on a futon!). After they married in October of 2009 and moved in and began really making the house her own. Domestic Fashionista is a place where she documents her life in blog form.
