I did a book and giveaway on Abigail’s book The Artful Bird: Feathered Friends to Make and Sew by Abigail Patner Glassenberg.  I check in on her blog “While she naps” to see what she has been up to. Well, Abigail made a little felt bird in flight and she thought you might like to make one, too. Pretty as ornaments for the holidays, or hanging from a branch for a mobile.  This bird is simple to make with a few scraps of felt and some embroidery floss.  She has complete instruction and downloadable template for the bird.  Abigail can never make just one as shown in the pictures above.  Enjoy this lovely tutorial.
