“Buzzmills” hosted by Jane is a blog containing a wealth of knowledge for us crafters. Jane used a wool bunny as a prototype for her sweet little bunnies. The little guy in her pictures reminds me of our Wes! I have to make some for him. She not only supplies a pictorial tutorial but also has a downloadable pattern template. Jane tells us that this is a great carry along project while sitting the spring sun or watching March Madness footballs at night. Jane relates “Once Henry Jane’s son saw these little guys he really did not want to let them go! It was all I could do to have them for a moment to take their pictures! They are soft, small and squishy enough for little hands to carry many, because, after all…isn’t that what little hands are always trying to do…carry many-many little things all at once”!
Jane even made up a song for these bunnies to sing with her little guy.
“See the sleeping bunnies, sleeping till its noon
Shall we wake them with a merry tune
Oh so still, are they ill?
Shhhh….
Wake up wake up, wake up sleeping bunnies!
Wake up wake up, wake up sleeping bunnies!
Hop little bunnies; hop-hop-hop
Stop little bunnies; stop-stop- stop.”
Thanks Jane for the darling tutorial.
