Make a bag of love – easy gift – DIY tutorial

June 12, 2012 by Linda Lanese

Raphaele of “La Creature and you” lives in Dublin, Ireland with her husband and kids.  Six years ago they lived in Paris where most of their families still live.  Raphaele has is darling “Make a bag of love” tutorial and she is sharing it with us.  Make and give a bag of love for anyone you care about, say for Father’s Day! The denim bag is perfect for men and maybe you could change the colors of the hearts to his favorite team colors.  This is a tutorial for a little bag made of denim fabric and filled with mixed colored felt hearts. It is an easy but uncommon project that would be a great gift or to keep for distributing love whenever you feel like it. This is an inexpensive project that kids can do with a little help.  What a great idea for those old denim jeans. Buy some new felt sheets in you preferred colors or use up those pieces left over from another project. What better present than the gift of love? This project will allow you to make you own bag of love to give to a beloved one or to keep on your desk to spread the love whenever suits you. This is an up-cycling project: the bag is made out of an old pair of jeans. The denim fabric is sturdy enough to allow the bag to stand alone.  Follow Raphaele on Facebook or Twitter.
