Today we will add more to an animal felt toys we have shown here in The Craft . Hedgehog is a very friendly and a good idea to tailor it to make it a Christmas gift to a child, as any small will love and very happy to have a felt animal like this. Lee then step by step on how to make a snowman-shaped felt hedgehog.
Materials:
Yellow felt
scraps of colored felt
Scissors
Needle and thread
Pins
Padding (cotton)
fabric glue
Blush Makeup
Step by step:
Click on the molds, agrándalos and print them.
Cut each pan separately, place them above the felt and marked for cut:
2 parts of the mold 1, 2 pieces of the mold 2 and a mold part 8 in yellow felt.
4 parts of the mold 3 and 8 parts of the mold 4 in felt violet.
a mold part 6 orange.
With the felt folded and adjusted the fold over the straight portion of the drawing, cut a piece from the mold 5 in felt blue and several identical pieces but longer in felts of different colors. Can take as a measure for these parts the length of the mold 1.
Fold and sew the cast piece 8 (tail) upside down, give it back, fill it and set aside. Place the 2 pieces of the mold 1 (body) and right sides sujétalas with pins. Put in place the piece 8 and padded on the inside. Sew together the pieces of the body and tail with a space to fill. Turn, fill and close the seams.
Sew two pieces of 4 (legs) in the same way you sewed the body and adhiérelas it from below so that the doll can be sustained. Glue the pieces 7 (eyes) to parts 2 (face), let dry and sew the top front of the face on the back.
To make the nose gather places a thin line of glue in that area and secured with wooden pegs behind the canvas. Let dry a few hours, remove the clamps, place the face piece and sew the top edge of the body.
Smile to the needle felt below the face and make a long stitch, putting pressure to sink the felt on the body. Sew the entire part of the face and fill the body and sew the piece 3 (ears) in place guiding the design of the mold. Be careful not to over tighten the facepiece to the body to not undo the fold of the nose.
Place a small cotton ball in the center of the workpiece 6 and sew on the tip of the snout giving stitches on small ends of the piece and adjusting to the face so that they are inside.
Sew Part 5 (bangs) in the place marked in the drawing of the mold and covered all over with pieces of colored fringes. Finally apply a little blush on the cheeks of the hedgehog and paste within the circles of the eyes, two very small circles in white felt to illuminate the eye.
It is true that there has been a simple job, but worth it, because you can do with your own hands a terrific gift , if you had to buy in a store you would be quite expensive.
I hope you can make a child happy this Christmas, preparing for him this beautiful animal. Until next craft!
