This is a perfect needle felting project for Halloween; a “Voodoo Doll Pincushion” filled with prickly pins. If you really want to make it scary have a little red roving like blood dripping out by the pin holes. This was posted on “Make Crafts” by Emily Smith. She has a step-by-step tutorial and tells us this is her first time needle felting and was surprised at how easy it is. All you need is a felting needle (with barbs at the end), a foam pad, and some raw wool. The way it works is that the barbs on the needle get caught on the fibers and pull them together in a mass, sort of like dreadlocks.
