DIY: Lumpy the Christmas Coal

December 22, 2012 by Linda Lanese

I hope the Elf on the shelf has been sending good reports to Santa or you know what will happen.  Our little one got some early Christmas presents today because his Elf said he was very good so I will not be making one of these for him.   So if you have been naughty this year if it means Santa will bring you one of these little lumps of coal.  These are so cute and I know several people that may have earned one like our fourteen year old who is getting a tad mouthy.  This would be a cute joke stocking stuffer for any teen on Christmas with the eyeballs peering over the top of their stocking. I am sure that none of my readers will need one or more because your kids are perfect “NOT”!  Get the complete tutorial and pattern for “Lumpy” over at “what no mints” hosted by Sasha and a 20-something graduate student working on her PhD in environmental chemistry in sunny south Florida.  Thanks Sasha for the darling tutorial.  Sasha relates, if Needlework is not your thing visit her ETSY shop where: You can purchase a pre-assembled Lumpy here!
