Amanda of “Fit to be loved” lives on the outskirts of London in “Ruislip” with her husband and their African fat tailed gecko. She works in a conservation charity (Bat Conservation Trust) in South London! Amanda loves to create and does needle felting. As you can see from her “Needle felting a Tawny Owl – photo tutorial”! Making a Tawny Owl has been a long time challenge for Amanda. She has the most amazing picture-filled tutorial on how to make the feathers look real down to the little claws and the eyes are just beautiful. Each one of Amanda’s pictures is like going to a Needle Felt sculpturing class. She shows you how to build the feathers and the parts of the face that makes it look so realistic I am so impressed with this girl’s talent and hope to see a lot more from her. Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial with us because you make it look achievable. Just putting together this needle felting tutorial had to take some time! TUTORIAL HERE!
