Anette of “Lebenslustiger” a German/English Blog out of Hildesheim, Germany and it is a very enlightening site sharing exquisite ideas. She has plastic chairs with little sheepskin pads on them to make the seats warmer in winter. Not being overly fond of the fur Anette created these felted seat pads chunky wool out of 500gr samples of un-spun wool roving and knitted these yummy seat pads with finger knitting or use 25mm knitting needles in Stockinette pattern. Anette does have a video on DaWanda on finger knitting, although it is in German I am sure you can get the idea. Anette tells us how to felt and block the pads and they are lovely. Her pads look like a handmade item you would find at West Elm or Crate & Barrel with a big price tag attached. Try ETSY shops for your roving and other needle felting supplies. Thank you Anette for sharing your tutorial! HERE!
