If you’ve ever used Cuisinart stainless steel or cast iron pans they all have bare handles. I have been using Cuisinart pot and pans for over five years and would not trade them for any other cookware. I love putting a roast in the oven in the large or medium skillet and you cannot damage these in any way and I have burned several of the pans. When you use them in the oven and you have a stainless steel handled that you have to get out you need the following tutorial on how to turn your wool sweater into a pan handle cover. A friend of mine knitted and Felt a couple for me but they had to double them up so that they would be thick enough and insulated to slip over the handle of your pan. I found this tutorial on handmade echo friendly living that will give you the basics on how to convert your used wool sweaters in to handle potholders. These are easy and quick to make and if you decorate them with a little needle felting they would make excellent gifts. I want to thank Annie of handmade eco-friendly living for sharing this amazing project. TUTORIAL HERE!
