Help for the beginner needle felter

Hi Felters

I wanted to share a great resource with you that I’ve recently come across.  This very clever felter has not only an Etsy store but a Youtube channel as well.

In her Etsy store ( Felts by Philippa ) you will find finished works but also pdf tutorials for a number of projects and while they are mostly cows and sheep the techniques learned with each lesson would be very useful for many future projects!  So if creating these isn’t totally in your field of interest I still believe there is great value in these classes if you want to learn and grow in your craft.

What also caught my eye in her etsy store is these gorgeous mugs and bags.  Just popping some in my trolley for later…….

Over on her YouTube channel you will find a very organised array of tutorials.  Each section is well done with playlists named and set up for you to easily find the skill level or topic you are looking for.  From beginner to advanced, from tools to tips, I’m really impressed with the amount of time and skill Philippa is gifting to the world from her channel.

If you’ve been felting for a while and would like to start your own business she even has some great videos teaching you how to set it all up and how it has worked for her.  She also has a pdf on etsy about this as well!

Philippa, thanks so much for sharing your love of felting with the world, as a fellow felty I love what you are doing and look forward to checking in on your channel and store again soon.

Happy Felting everyone!
