Getting creative for Easter is something we try to do every year. As my kids got older I really wanted them to aim less for the chocolates and more for something that really lasted and showed their friends how much they loved them.
We made all sorts of different things and this little project page reminds me of those days.
Over at Growing Stories you can find the tutorial and links to other methods to create super sweet eggs which open to reveal a little Chick hiding inside!
Children like nothing more than being able to put something inside something else! Like the car keys in the toilet, the sandwich in the mailbox, and the remote in your cup of tea! They also love having a little friend they can carry around, I’ve made so many little bears that have ended up as the inhabitant of a small childs shirt or pants pocket!
And this project isn’t just great when it’s finished, the children can make them themselves for the most part! You might just need to help the younger ones with the fine tuning.
So head over to Growing Stories here and find the adorable page that will take you through the steps to some fun for your family this Easter season.
Happy Felting!
