When you are working with a resource like felting mats, that tend to wear out over time, you will want to know as much as you can about your options.  I’ve found over the years that I’ve used a number of different kinds of mats depending on what style of items I was making at the time, how much space I had or where I was doing most of my work.  A number of relevant reasons can lean you toward a different style of mat.
