Hello fellow Felters! I was so excited to find this lovely tutorial this week. The Wishing Shed has been making some great free tutorials available for us to play with making some really fun and unusual characters!
This one is for a little frog and rather than being in a ‘realistic’ frog style he is more of a doll or figure that you can add to other objects, dress or pose as you wish!
In this little tutorial, which takes you right through the creation of this little guy, you will learn some great tips and techniques for making his body, eyes, sewing his mouth and how to prepare pipe cleaners to use for his limbs. This froggy has his limbs sewn on as well which you may not have tried before!
Looking at this finished little guy I feel sure you could easily adjust him to look more like a popular frog we all know and love! 🙂 If you wished! This image is from the Museum of The Moving Image.
