I’ll let you in on a little secret — I don’t buy these felting needles one set at a time. I buy four or five. At once. Every single time.
Now, before you think I’ve lost my mind (or my storage space), here’s why: I’m constantly getting asked by curious friends and new felters if they can “have a go.” And if you’ve ever lent out your good needles, you know how that ends — bent, broken, or mysteriously vanished into someone’s project bag.
These needles are my go-to for beginners and teaching sessions. They’re inexpensive, reliable, and sharp enough to handle wool beautifully without feeling precious about them. They’re perfect for practice and sturdy enough to last a while, but if one snaps (and it will), it’s no big deal.
I love that I can hand a few out without feeling like the mean crafter who says, “No, you can’t borrow that.” These make sharing the joy of felting easy and affordable — and they always find their way into my cart when I restock supplies.
