Free Felting Tutorial Friday: Needle Felted Sheep

If you’ve been following my felting adventures for a while, you already know I have a soft spot for sheep — and, really, all things farm animal themed. There’s just something so comforting about creating these fluffy, gentle creatures out of wool. Maybe it’s the textures, maybe it’s the quiet charm of country life… either way, I can’t get enough!

This week’s Free Felting Tutorial Friday is a treat for anyone who shares that same woolly obsession. We’re featuring a series of Needle Felting Tutorials and Projects from Lincolnshire Fenn Crafts, where the ever-talented Sandy Mulley takes you step-by-step through creating the most adorable animals — from cheeky little sheep to highland cows and tiny woodland critters.

 My Take

I could spend hours scrolling through her felted animal gallery. Her little sheep might just be my favourites — soft, squishy, and brimming with character. There’s a coziness to them that reminds me why I fell in love with felting in the first place.

So grab your wool, pop the kettle on, and treat yourself to one of these down-on-the-farm projects. You’ll end up with your very own miniature flock in no time!
