A Little Woodland Magic in Wool Form – Felting Kit Review

July 27, 2026 by Shellie Wilson Leave a Comment

I’ll admit it — I have a soft spot for anything with mushrooms and moss, and this sweet little needle felting kit from PandaHall completely captured me. The soft blue tones give it such a dreamy, fairy-tale feel — it’s like something straight out of a woodland storybook.

What I love most about this kit is that it’s small, contained, and achievable. You don’t need to be an expert felter to enjoy it. Everything is neatly packaged, and the foam base makes it easy to start shaping right away. The project is perfect for a cozy afternoon when you just want to sit, stab, and see something magical take shape.

It’s also a lovely little gift idea — either made up or still boxed as a beginner-friendly craft. I especially love that it has a natural wood base, which adds to the finished look without any extra fuss.

If you’re looking to dip your toes (or needles) into felt sculpting or just want a peaceful, mindful project, this Blue Mushroom Felting Kit is a charming pick that adds a touch of enchantment to your day.
