Up cycled Purse from a ruined (shrunken/felted) Sweater

April 18, 2012 by Linda Lanese

Mary posted a very pretty purse she made from a shrunken sweater mistake on “instructables.com”.  She has downloadable PDF instructions for you to follow and also pictures showing you how it is made.  She is a very creative up cycler and I think you will enjoy her ideas and talent. Mary is retired now and has time for all the creative things she has done since she was a child. So far the only thing that has stumped her (all though several people have TRIED to teach her) is knitting! She may make “learning how to knit” her goal for 2012!

    Hi Mary,
I really loved your tutorial on the recycled sweater purse. I have several ruined sweaters now that I can use to make them. My question is this, Do you have to buy a membership to Instructables to be able to download your PDF?
    Thanks for the info.
