DIY Mother’s Day Corsage: Felt Dahlia Flower Brooch

April 17, 2012 by Linda Lanese

How proud your mom would be to wear this Dahlia Flower Brooch on her jacket or on a purse. Megan has a wonderful tutorial with pictorial instructions.  Megan was wondering about what to make Mom for Mother’s Day?  She had been thinking about traditional gifts like flower corsages and lockets, and she decided to combine the two. This felt dahlia pin has a secret pocket in the back that can hold a picture or message for your favorite mom.  Use any color you like to fit your mother’s personality.

Megan of “Not Martha” lives in Seattle with Scott. She makes stuff and gives you tutorials on how to make it too. She also keeps a blog of what I’m up to and links to good stuff from all over. You can also find her at Twitter, Flickr, Ravelry, Facebook and Pinterest.
