Lavender Rice Filled Felt Heart Hand Warmers DIY

January 30, 2013 by Linda Lanese

hand warmers

How original are these Filled Felt Heart Hand Warmers from Kimberly of “Serendipity” and what a stunning presentation they make as a Valentine gift.  Her blog is where she shares bits of her daily life.  The successes as well as “good ideas gone badly”; because you just never know where the next great discovery’s going to come from.  She lives in Chicago in a house full of men” (her husband and two sons), as well as a yellow lab named, “Martha Stewart”.  Like many of us this winter has only had one cold week and yesterday it was 65 degrees here in Ohio and Kimberly voiced the same and has not had much use this year for hand warmers.  Wait a moment and it will be cold and I would love a pair of these.  I love the way Kimberly has the two tied together with a pretty bow and some sprigs of Lavender.  Everything presented here can be fashioned your way with the colors you love and embellishments. Like “Serendipity” on Facebook and enjoy her latest creations.
