IÂ purchased this book from Amazon and it arrived today and I am thrilled with its contents. The author gives a concise and informative review of the history of felting and provides a reasonable discussion about different sheep breeds for the beginner. She provides a good number of interesting projects with pretty good instructions that correlate very well with her abundant photos of the works in progress I think the Japanese influence in the design and presentation of the projects is evident. There are so many projects I am certainly going to try. This book shows that art really lovely and new ideas for felters. The instructions are quite detailed and you will learn some new tips. It has a project that explores making 3-D sculpture. There are many felting project books that look fabulously attractive but end up short on substance. I find this to be a valuable addition to my own library.
