July 12, 2008 by Linda Lanese

First, I wanted to thank everyone for joining in our giveaways and I hope Kathleen the winner, enjoys Sarah’s book “Picture Yourself Felting your Knits” which is filled would fun projects.  I hope the she, lets’ Sarah and me know how she likes the book and I will put her review here on Craft Gossip.  The Fungus were fun to make and I hope you girls Amanda & Jessica, the winner, enjoy them and don’t fight over what mushrooms  each of you get, have mom pick.

The winner of the book; Kathleen form Pennsylvania and has a blog called “KATYDID AND KID”.

Kathleen’s Winning Comment, “I teach knitting and felting classes at a local art center (before I went on maternity leave) and would love to add this book to my collection. It would give me some more ideas for projects to share with my students. Thanks!”

I hope Kathleen introduces her students to some of the wonderful projects I see in this book.

There were some nice entries and I am going to name everyone that has a blog and I hope that you take the time to visit their sites and see what your fellow readers are up to.

The winners of the Fungus are Amanda & Jessica from Smithville, Ohio.  I could not resist Amanda’s cute comment.

“I am Amanda and I love this felting site you have the coolest stuff. I would love to have these adorable Fungus, pickle and apple. My sister Jessica wants them also. So I hope we win and them we can split them. We are ages 13 and 14 and we are fifteen months apart, so we are very competitive. We both love crafting and come to Craft Gossip to see what is new. Please pick us because we love you and all the columns on the site. We are young so we will be around a long time”   Hugs, Amanda & Jessica
