The silver Penny

July 13, 2008 by Linda Lanese

I came across this site and want to share it with you.  The Silver Penny offers a delightful assortment of all-natural dolls and toys, tooth fairy gifts, books, craft kits and more at reasonable prices. There are some cute felting kits, roving, wool felt, Fairy House Kits, needle felting and felting supplies.  They also carry and sell many other crafting items that will please most crafters.  Needle Felting Basics tutorial with a template you may enjoy.

Their Guarantee;

They invite you to compare (and for your sake, we do often), because whenever we offer a toy or other item that may be found at a higher price at bigger shops, we offer it for less or we won’t sell it at all!  (It must be the Yankee in us that makes us thrifty with a coin — even if it’s not theirs!)

    Thanks for the great write up! I love your site too. So much good crafting information to share. I’ve been playing around with some unusual bases for my latest needle felted creations and have discovered 100% Virgin Wool made by Nat’l Nonwovens. It’s really fantasic stuff! So thick and durable — I love it. My Fairy Hill Hideaway fairy house design utilizes it and the results were fantastic! Keep up the good work and thanks again.
