September 8, by Linda Lanese. 2 Comments

Sarah of Thistle Downs has a collection of limited edition hand bags, scarves and jewelry. Her Nuno felting is stunning and she may be the next couture indie designer.  People are shopping and buying more unknown designers on the internet than ever before.  You can purchase Sarah’s designs on Smashing Darling.  Visit her blog Thistle Downs wool design and find out more about Sarah.

Sarah, glad you are still going strong. I bought a couple of the felted wool purses about 7years ago during my visit to my daughter, Mari and Fred Koke. They were living in Killingworth CT at the time. I have made a couple dozen felted purses but they don’t sell very well in the midwest. Still trying to get a consignor that will at least pay for the supplies. Marilyn Van Essen, 922 Robin Cir, Altoona, Iowa 50009
