Lola Garcia Felt Accessories Designer

November 11, 2008 by Linda Lanese

I discovered this fabulous felting designer on Indie Fixx (where there is a complete interview with Lola) This is an awesome site where you can find hundreds of Indie designers working in all styles of arts and crafts from around the world and you have got to visit them.  I found some very brilliant shops there and LUSITANIA run by Lola Garcia was one of them.. Lola Garcia is based in Madrid and is a great example of someone who decided to follow her passion for design and still keep her professional career. In less than a year, she  started LUSITANIA, her felt accessories shop.

Lola relates; eight months ago I discovered some websites where you could sell crafts and I decided to try it with my felt accessories. I design, make and sell felt accessories using two very different wool techniques: wet felting and needle felting. In my Etsy store, Lusitania, I sell bags, purses, necklaces, brooches, cases, covers and I also sell some handmade supplies, in felt, of course.
