Cutesy but not cutesy, Monster Felter

January 15, 2009 by Linda Lanese

What a creative imagination this young lady has according to what I have seen on Flickr and in her ETSY Shop.  She has some of the most adorable soft sculptures and amazingly delightful monsters.  She is advertising and her shop, something I have not seen, about crafters using the proper materials and their products as not to harm anyone. I personally think that most crafters are very diligent in their habits of what materials they are using and who they are meant for. Most shops say if they are suitable for children or not.

Here is the link: Please help support local, handmade toy designers and entrepreneurs by signing this petition to keep us in business!

Help support crafters by signing the above petition to keep handmade artists alive on the web. I signed and also donated, so do your bit and help, this issue does affect most of us editors on craft gossip, thank you!

Artist statement:

I am a fine artist making designer plush toys and other soft sculptures. Everything I make is hand sewn (no machines) and made from recycled clothing and other materials. Take a peak, comment, laugh, whatever, but enjoy!!!
