I first discovered this fabric artist on Flickr and she is amazing!  Her name is Anat Rom and she certainly has a playful and creative imagination when it comes to her character dolls.  She calls her business BOO-DA.  She has a Flickr page, a Boo-Da websites and a ETSY shop.  My description of her dolls could never emulate her description of how her adorable creatures came to be. In the following Anat tells us the story about her dolls.

Our characters started coming to visit this planet tow years Well, let me start at the very beginning…
It was the Ballerina Mooshon who danced into my dream one night, and begged to be born…

I am happy to report that the Mooshonim (mooshon in plural) and friends are adapting well to this planet with their extended families. We are welcoming new faces almost every day now!

Without any promotion they found their way to numerous news prints and television shows in the endlessly creative Tel-Aviv city in Israel
Mooshonim found their way to Japan and England. People simply fell in love with them.

Mooshonim LOVE to be adopted, its ok if you forget to feed them, take them for a walk, or scratch behind their ears…
They are very forgetful and loyal!!

ABOUT ME

Name-Anat Rom
Started my inspiration playing with dolls in Israel. Later continued studying product design in HIT. And from then on I had much fun working on stage design, event planning, designing marionettes ( learned in Prague, Chech Republis) and puppet design (learned in Tel-Aviv, Israel).

My interest in high quality artistic and collectible character design called me to add the3-D and life like design to adult cartoons.

Yes, there is still room in my life for dolls and it seems, by the unsolicited advertisement that other adults do too!
