Felty Friend from Disney Family Fun

September 3, 2009 by Linda Lanese

feltfriends

These are the cutest friends for you and your children to make using felt.  There is a pattern template for the clothing and step-by-step pictorial instructions.  Make an entire family or a place holder for a child’s party or have this project as part of the party. Have an assortment of colored felt on hand for skin, hair and clothing and yarns in different colors for the hair.  What a fun idea from Disney Family Fun

This Felty Friend is similar to cloth dolls made in the 1800s, except that they have inserted a pipe cleaner skeleton to make the doll posable. Be warned, when you have completed your Felty, it will inevitably require a friend, clothes, a sleeping bag, and a pet. (Pet pattern included)
