I was particularly enthralled with Katie’s art felting when I discovered her blog. Although these pictures of her creations were from last July I still wanted to share them with you. It is incredible what you marvelous felt artists can do with some roving. I particularly love her surface of the moon celebrating the anniversary of the moon landing. Her fungus re-creation in felt is truly a work of art. Katie Jackson lives in the United Kingdom and loves felt, fiber, cloth, paper, beads, jumble sales, charity shops, She love finding a black bin bag on her doorstep when she get home because someone thinks she might find their junk useful -She always does, but her house and husband disagree! She is a mum to three grown up children with new time to spend sewing and knitting.
