Recycled felted Cashmere, Teddy Bear Family

February 9, 2011 by Linda Lanese

Linda Friedman’s ETSY shop “Linda’s Art Quilts” has this adorable bear family; Papa, Mama and Baby Bear family is constructed from recycled, hot washed merino wool sweaters and is stuffed with resilient, non-allergenic, ultra soft 100% pure polyester fiber. Papa Bear is a proud 12″ tall, Mama Bear is a petite 11″ in height, and Baby Bear is has reached 8″ on his growth chart. The facial features on this cuddly family are hand sewn with 6 strand embroidery floss.  I totally fell in love with these little guys.  When buying bears for babies, these are perfect, soft with embroidered features and non-allergenic stuffing that will not harm baby.   It is very difficult to find toys for baby and know for sure there is nothing in the product that is dangerous.  What a charming shower gift this would make and the white color cover both sexes.  Do check them out, too adorable.

Thank you so much for featuring my teddy bear family. I’ve posted a PDF formatted document of the pattern(s) with instructions for this “berry” happy family on Etsy at: http://www.etsy.com/listing/67811411/three-bears-family-patterns-in-pdf?
