Handmade Felt Jewelry Bag Tutorial

September 2, 2011 by Linda Lanese

Melike of “A Cup of Sparkle” lives Seattle, Washington, the designer of stunning jewelry.  Today she is sharing her darling “Handmade Felt Jewelry Bag Tutorial” with us. Melike is the designer and owner of the “A Cup of Sparkle Jewelry” on Etsy. She loves creating and sharing. Jewelry design/fabrication is one of her biggest craft passions.  In her blog, she writes about her jewelry, what inspires her to create and also other tutorials of arts and crafts that she makes, like this darling Jewelry Bag. She likes making things special for her customers. She wanted to make A Cup of Sparkle jewelry even more special. She designed and handmade this cute red jewelry bags with the addition of a handmade charm.  She does not have a sewing machine at home; so, she hand-stitched them. It is such a fun project. She says she cannot wait to get different colors of felt and make these bags in a variety of colors.  Here is her short pictorial tutorial if you want to make it on your own. Once you make the first one, Melike says; making more takes less than 15 minutes. These would make charming gifts for the holidays.  Think of presenting a piece of jewelry nestled in this bag; maybe a piece you bought from “A Cup of Sparkle Jewelry”.
