DIY Needle felted Elbow Patches

February 4, 2012 by Linda Lanese

Erica of “Honestly . . .WTF”; discovered needle felting  while perusing Pinterest.  Erica is new to needle felting but is now hooked.  She was impressed with all the things you can do with needle felting, so she wanted to share her new found interest with us with her heart elbow patch tutorial.  She shows us just how it is done with her pictorial tutorial on “Honestly . . .WTF” so why not give it a try.  Thanks Erica for sharing your tutorial with us.

It can be done on almost any fabric, even silk! I just did it on a polyester/cotton bedspread that got a hole in it and it worked fine. It has a black background with large white florals and the hole was in the black and I used the black roving.
