Felt workshops with amazing felters

April 13, 2012 by Linda Lanese

Dawn Edward’s “work pictured above, the hat and shawl” is hosting two marvelous international feltmakers, Nicola Brown of Ireland, and Charity Van der Meer of the Netherlands for two amazing workshops which Dawn has posted on the “Felt so Right” Charity’s workshop has sold out, and with a waiting list in New England, but Dawn still has openings in Michigan. Nicola has taught here twice and always offers a fantastic class. This will be Charity’s first time in Michigan and we will be making some of the most amazing felt jackets/coats. Dawn adores Charity’s work and she so excited that she’s agreed to come to the West Michigan area.  Get moving you Michigan felters this is such an amazing experience for you.

Thank you Linda for including this information about these most amazing feltmakers. I love the felt work of both Nicola and Charity and know that we’ll learn so much from them. Hoping that feltmakers from Michigan and the surrounding area will be interested in one, or both, of these workshops…I know that it will be a fantastic experience. Thank you again.
